Pedro Rodríguez (b. Málaga, 1958), known professionally as Pedrín, is a celebrated Spanish sculptor based on the island of Menorca.
His work is widely recognized for its bold, stylized forms that capture the energy and spirit of the Mediterranean.
Trained at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Málaga, Pedrín developed a strong foundation in form, volume, and expression - elements that continue to define his distinctive sculptural style.
Inspired by his Andalusian roots, Pedrín often sculpts animals, especially bulls, using a unique blend of abstraction and realism.
His sculptures feature smooth surfaces, dynamic lines, and a powerful sense of movement, all designed to evoke emotion and narrative through form.
Pedrín's work has been exhibited across Spain, including a standout installation at the Kempinski Hotel Bahía in Marbella, where his monumental bull sculpture ´Olly´ greets visitors at the hotel entrance.
His pieces have also attracted international attention in the art market, with works like Rodeo - stolzer Kampfstier gaining solid recognition at auction.
Today, Pedrín´s revered sculptures are exhibited across Spain in Ciutadella de Menorca, Málaga, and Mallorca, offering a timeless yet contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean life through sculpture.
