VeraD

VeraD (b. 1945, Prague) is  a Czech artist currently based in Barcelona and celebrated for her vibrant, emotionally charged paintings. A former acrobat who spent twenty years touring the globe, she draws inspiration from her travels, memories, and love of diving, translating them into immersive, color-rich compositions.

 

Her art - described as a "magical potion" - seeks to uplift and provoke, offering a vivid reflection of a life lived in exploration. VeraD works between her studios in Barcelona, the Costa de Azahar, and Moravia, creating paintings that capture both motion and emotion in every brushstroke.
